Certain Entrepreneurs and Legal Entities Are Exempted from Paying State Duty
A law signed by the President (O‘RQ-1018 from January 13, 2025) introduces amendments and additions to the Law "On State Duty."
According to the amendments to the Law "On State Duty," entrepreneurs and other legal entities are exempt from paying state duty for re-registration in case of changes in their location (postal address), if such changes are due to the creation or liquidation of administrative-territorial units or changes in their boundaries or subordination.
Additionally, amendments have been made stipulating that insurers are exempt from paying state duty for claims arising from mandatory insurance contracts.
In such cases, insurers (insured persons, beneficiaries, and victims) are exempt from paying state duty in civil courts and economic courts for claims arising from mandatory insurance contracts.
The law enters into force from the moment of its official publication.
