New Approaches Will Be Implemented to Ensure Employment, Attract People to Entrepreneurship, and Increase Incomes
A Decree of the President "On Measures to Ensure Employment of the Population and Reduce Poverty in 2025" (PQ-12 from January 17, 2025) has been adopted.
According to the Decree, the target indicators for the program of providing the population with income-generating employment and its implementation are approved for 2025.
As part of the program, employment for 5.2 million people will be ensured in 2025, with efforts to attract them to income-generating employment. Responsible organizations have been identified for this purpose.
In 2025–2026, ready-made business projects in the field of poultry farming will be implemented in Namangan, Tashkent, Khorezm, and other regions, including modern slaughterhouses (poultry farms), refrigerated warehouses, product and waste processing, breeding of pedigree chicks, and poultry product manufacturing within a cooperative system.
Additionally, in 2025, with the involvement of members of poor families, the following projects will be implemented:

·        Creation of forest plantations of industrially valuable, decorative, and fruit trees on 20,000 hectares of forest fund land, creation of greenhouses, and cultivation of medicinal plants;

·        Implementation of pilot projects for growing Broussonetia trees on a total area of 100 hectares.

Starting from July 1, 2025, subsidies will be provided on the "Ecologically Active Citizen" platform at the rate of 1 base calculated amount for every 100 trees planted by members of poor families on forest fund lands.
