Starting from June 1, 2025 "Golden Visa"

Starting from June 1, 2025, Uzbekistan will launch a “Golden Visa” program for foreign investors.

According to the Presidential Decree of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated April 18, 2025
(“On Measures to Stimulate Production, Export, and Entrepreneurial Activity, and Improve the Efficiency of Trade and Industrial Policy,” Section VII: Promotion of Investments)

A new mechanism for obtaining a five-year residence permit (RP) through a non-refundable payment to the state budget will come into effect on June 1.

The required contribution amount is:

• $250,000 for the main applicant,

• $150,000 for each family member.

The following relatives can be included in a collective residency application:

• spouse,

• children,

• parents.
